Vitamin C Helps Cure Acne Scars? |

The other day, a customer wrote to us with her story about how taking Vitamin C (for some illness) helped with her acne scars. Using lemon juice and other fruits, rich in Vitamin C were always considered good for skin. I am not completely sure if this Vitamin C therapy is going to work equally well for everyone, but since it’s a natural treatment, with no obvious side-effects, there’s no harm in trying it out. You can take Vitamin C through orange juice or simply with the Vitamin C drinks available over the counter. Let me know if it works for you.

Smoking Aggravates Acne |

There are contradictory issues about whether smoking induces acne or not. Enormous number of studies have been performed. According to some studies, smoking does cause acne breakouts. Smoking increase carbon monoxide level within your body that stimulates sebaceous glands to produce excessive sebum. You know excessive production of sebum ultimately results in clogged hair follicles. Clogged hair follicles restrict continuous discharge of sebum, therefore, small bumps begin to appear. (more…)
