Teenager Dies Using Oral Acne Medication on Prescription

A 14-year-old boy named Shaun Jhonson died last month after taking an oral medication for acne prescribed by his doctor. It was confirmed that the promising rugby player died after encountering an allergic reaction caused when he took the tablets that were prescribed by his doctor.

Shaun Jones, of Rhydyfelin, Pontypridd, was described by his coach as an awesome rugby player will surely be missed by family and friends. Although his parents are shocked by the incident they are adamant that they wont press charges against the doctor who prescribed the medication.

Acne medication does warn of the dangers of potential allergic respiratory tract and skin reactions, but deaths are described as very rare. I have written it multiple times that oral contraceptives should be avoided as they are the cause of certain side effects and in their place topical medication specially natural acne treatment option should be used.
