Pimples are very common thing to encounter as it is a very common skin disorder. the most freak place that i have heard about pimple placement on the body is the tongue.

i can imagine that how irrtating it must be. it would be a constant source of bother when eating, drinking, talking etc.

How is it caused:

Pimples on tongue may be caused by taking too much oily food or acidic food. It is not necessary that anything which pops up on your tongue is pimple it may be inflamed papilla, or taste bud. Since the tongue pimples have a life of 5 to 10 days depending on condition so it is usually left to heal in time. you can gargle salt-water a few times a day to ease the discomfort. But if you notice that it is not going by time or you may notice more break outs on your tongue then you should consult a dentist, he will suggest you suitable medicine that will control your harmones.
