Acne is an inflammation of hair follicles and sebaceous glands. It is indicated as infected lesions or bumps called blackheads or whiteheads formed due to blocked hair follicles and excessive production of sebum. The infected lesions are red and painful. They are red because bacteria infects hair follicles and outer tissues of the skin where lesions occurred are lost.
Most of the acne sufferers are concerned with red acne marks. The best treatment of red acne marks is to treat acne. When acne is treated successfully and no pimple or blackhead occurs, there will be no red mark any longer. People find many topical remedies just to reduce the redness that further aggravates the symptoms.
Avoid direct exposure to sun, harsh soaps and cosmetics and do not scrub the lesions. It is seen that most often a pimple disappear on their own if it is not popped or pressed. When you press the lesion, the infections spreads into deep skin layers. Avoid pressing and popping the pimple and use gentle herbal hair care tonics to topically nourish hair follicles.
