Getting less then adequate sleep may cause acne.
     
 

Research has shown that sleeping less then 6-7 hours a day over a consistent stretch of time is not good for your health and it can also induce acne breakouts. This link between acne and sleeplessness is not direct as in it is not the root cause but the other things that come with sleeplessness that include stress and not enough healing time for the body, these things definitely make your acne worse.


Apart from this lack of sleep makes a person make bad decisions when it comes to foods. This can also be responsible for acne breakouts. It also makes it difficult to regulate your blood sugar level, this can lead to severely aggravated acne. So if you are not working on getting the cure of a life threatning disease or working for a peaceful world you should get proper sleep of 6 to 7 hours a day. Sweet dreams.
