Tips for Dry Skin Care

Dry skin can give rise to cracking, scaling and peeling. Following are some useful tips that will help you treat your dry skin by providing the required amount of moisture to it:

  1. Use cleansers and facial products that are especially formulated for dry skin.

  2. Use dry skin Lotion to provide essential nutrients to your skin.
  3. Do not wash your face many times a day because this can make the problem worse causing itchiness. Only wash your face once at night before going to bed because the skin will be able to renew itself throughout the night.
  4. Do not use hot water for taking bath or washing your face because this makes dry skin worse. Hot water damages skin cells, which gives rise to peeling and cracking.
  5. Do not rub or scrub your skin harshly with a towel while drying it. The best thing is to leave it to dry on its own in order to restore the moisture back to your dry skin.

Increase the intake of Vitamin E and A as these work wonders for moisturizing, nourishing and softening the skin and also helps in restoring the skin cells.
