Non-occlusive / Noncomedogenic Products for Acne

Noncomedogenic or non-occlusive products are personal care products such as oils, lotions, and skin creams that do not clog pores. If you are suffering from acne, this means that these products are perfectly suitable for you. But wait…

The fact the Noncomedogenic products help reduce acne is not proven. There is some evidence that these products help reduce the break out cycle, however it is not confirmed in clinical trials and by the FDA.

But common sense tells that Noncomedogenic products should always be preferred over the occlusive ones. Keep using your acne treatment along with these products and you should be fine.
